Data Deletion and Account Deactivation Instructions for Creonix

This page provides instructions on how to request the deletion of your data associated with the Creonix service (https://app.creonix.pro) and deactivate your account connection.
1. Understanding Data Deletion
When you request data deletion, we will remove the following information associated with your Creonix account and connected Instagram business account from our database:
- Your Instagram account ID, username, and access token provided by Meta (Instagram).
- Uploaded video content (reels and stories) stored for publication.
- Analytics data (e.g., reach, follower growth, post engagement) retrieved from your Instagram account.
- Any logs specifically tied to your account ID, though general application logs may be retained for security and operational purposes in an anonymized form.
Deactivating your account connection means we will no longer be able to publish content or retrieve analytics for your Instagram account.
2. How to Request Data Deletion and Deactivate Your Account
You can delete your data and deactivate your account directly through the Service or by contacting us:
Option 1: Delete via Account Settings (Recommended)
- Log into the Service at https://app.creonix.pro/ using your credentials.
- Go to Account Settings.
- Select the "Delete Account" option.
- Confirm your request by following the on-screen instructions.
- Upon confirmation, your account, connected Instagram data, uploaded videos, and analytics data will be scheduled for deletion.
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the Service, you can request deletion via email:
- Send an email to [email protected].
- Subject Line: "Data Deletion Request for Creonix".
- Email Body: Clearly state that you wish to delete your data and deactivate your account. Include your Instagram Handle (@username) connected to Creonix to help us locate your data. Example: "I request the deletion of all data associated with my Instagram account @username from Creonix."
- Verification: To prevent unauthorized requests, we may ask for additional verification (e.g., sending the email from the address associated with your account).
3. Processing Your Request
Upon receiving your deletion request:
- We will acknowledge receipt within 3 business days.
- Your data will be deleted from our active databases within 30 days of verification.
- You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
Some data may remain in backups for a limited period (up to 90 days) before permanent deletion, as part of our standard backup procedures. We may retain anonymized or aggregated data for analytical purposes, or data required to comply with legal obligations.
4. Deactivating via Instagram Settings
You can revoke Creonix’s access to your Instagram account directly through Instagram:
- Go to your Instagram account settings.
- Navigate to "Apps and Websites" or "Business Integrations".
- Find "Creonix" in the list of active apps.
- Select the app and choose "Remove" to revoke permissions.
Important: Revoking permissions stops Creonix from accessing your Instagram account, but does not automatically delete data already stored (e.g., uploaded videos, analytics data). To ensure complete removal, follow the deletion process in Section 2.
5. Compliance with Instagram Policies
Our data deletion process complies with Instagram’s Platform Policy. We ensure that all data associated with your account is removed in accordance with applicable laws, including GDPR for EU users.
